Set on 4 grassy acres in the shadows of the Catskill Mountains, Barn on the Pond is an idyllic Hudson Valley retreat. Perfect for group getaways, the recently renovated red barn sleeps 14 and has all the amenities (and then some) needed for a relaxing weekend away.

The open floor plan and spacious common areas urge you to put down your cell phone and spend some real time together. No doubt your group will gather in the kitchen, around the massive island or the long wooden dining table, and catch up while noshing on snacks or playing games. If you so choose, you can even delegate the cooking duties to a private chef, who will come in and prepare meals for your party. How much more relaxing can it get?

With plenty of space to sleep, including a funky retro airstream trailer out back, the whole crew will be comfortable.

Spend your evenings like we did, with a bottle glass of wine and a bag full of marshmallows out by the fire pit. Something about the property just begs for s’mores and storytelling when the sun goes down.

The location of Barn on the Pond seriously couldn’t be more perfect. Just 2 hours from New York City near the town of Woodstock, there’s so much to see and do in the area. Of course…that’s assuming you choose to leave your Upstate abode. The open layout of the beautiful red barn encourages you to relax and hang with your friends or family.
